We are seeking an energetic professional for the following position for our Flint and Southeaster Michigan territories:

Field Representative

(numerous openings, non-exempt)

Summary: Provides assistance to the Medicaid Specialists, Field Coordinators, and Discharge Representatives by obtaining and delivering documents to/from patients and other external agencies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Pursues all necessary documents/verifications for checklists.

Contacts patient by telephone to arrange pickup and delivery of documents.

Prepares delivery of receipts for all deliveries to the Department of Human Services (DHS).

Assists Medicaid Specialists with resolution of DHS checklist

Updates status of verification process in patient accounts on computer system.

Manages a rolling inventory of a minimum of 25 cases.

All other duties as assigned.

Summary: Interviews, assesses, and completes applications for ESRD or other third party payers as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Secures applications and reviews for accuracy.

Responsible for processing a high volume & fast pace caseload.

Reviews inventory daily to assess for urgency.

Interviews patients/members via mail & telephone.

Travels to patients/members home and/or clinic to conduct interviews, obtain documentation, etc.

Secures all documentation necessary for submission of applications.

Uses investigative techniques to locate patients/members.

Continuously updates patient records with current information.

Maintains monthly inventory logs.
