Fr. Peter Dougherty, a priest of the Lansing Diocese, is a coordinator of the Michigan Peace Team, which conducts nonviolence trainings and places peace teams in conflict situations to prevent violence. He has been involved in peacemaking for 25 years. We welcome him to St. Francis, Saturday, February 11 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. in the St. Francis School gym while members of the Michigan Peace Team will offer training and information on nonviolence. Focus on: Better communication skills in the family, workplace, etc. Lear to handle personal assault nonviolently. Registration fee of $10 per person, and snacks will be provided.
