Job description: 

Assist customers in placing on-line resumes into the Michigan Talent Bank and with job searching on the Internet. Inform customers of the services that are available within the Michigan Works! Service Centers. Make appropriate referrals to various services. Enter customer data into system. Compile daily and monthly statistics of customer flow. Complete various reports. 1.Assist job seekers and employers in the Michigan Talent Bank (MTB) registration process, Internet usage, and other employment-related services provided by the Michigan Works! Service Centers 2.Provide referrals and resources to job seekers and employers. 3.Occasionally participate in outside/inside promotions of the Michigan Works! Services (Seminars/Special Events, Job Fairs, Profiling Orientations, etc.) 4.Work cooperatively with state and county agencies, departments, and staff within the Michigan Works! Service Centers 5.Completion of statistical reporting and data entry requirements 6.Present workshops and presentations 7.Maintain a customer friendly atmosphere 8.Perform other appropriate duties as assigned 

Job requirements: 
This job requires a high school diploma and 2 years of experience. 

Specific requirements: 
This job has some special requirements. You must possess a private drivers license, pass an employment test and undergo a reference or security check. 

Additional requirements: 
Qualifications: 1.One year experience working in job search activities, intensive customer service, or human services 2.Knowledgeable in Windows XP, MS Office and the Internet 3.Excellent grammar, communication, & customer service skills 4.Must be team oriented in this fast-paced, high volume work environment
