Maintenance Technician
in Taylor; 2 are for maintenance technicians with electrical experience using voltages from 120-480V, and 2 are for more mechanical people. Below are the job descriptions, and I bulleted out the job information at the bottom.
2 separate needs:
1) Looking for a electrical technician to provide maintenance to the facility. This person must be able to read electrical diagrams, schematics and provide repairs throughout the building. 120V, 220V, 480V experience. They would like to have someone who has a Journeyman Card. Candidate must also be open to all shifts. Work environment is very dirty, dusty, hot, and smells like sugar.
2) Looking for a maintenance technician/mechanic to work in their facility. The candidate will be responsible for all mechanical repairs to the machinery and general building maintenance. Candidate should have a high degree of mechanical aptitude, with a good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatics. Experience in the repair of boilers is a strongly preferred skill. He/she will be working in a challenging environment, product is very corrosive to mechanical parts and things tend to break down frequently. The facility can be viewed as dirty and the odor is strong and could be offensive. Facility gets very warm in the summer months. General tool set is required for performing daily activities. Candidate should be able to follow a typical preventative maintenance schedule and practice safe working habits. Candidate should be open to all shifts. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and think on their feet
· 90 day contract to direct hire (this is a client who is very good about hiring people in after 90 days if the candidate is good)
· Must be shift flexible (12 hr shifts on a rotating schedule- I can explain that more to them)
· Pay is $15/hr on contract, will get a raise when hired in directly
