Entry Level Web Development Engineer (2013) – SM10353

We are looking for a highly creative individual who has an eye for web page development and will help us to build an innovative web experience. This position requires a person who has an artistic ability to create an aesthetically pleasing web page, and also one who has the technical knowledge to use the tools and software to create the page from the ground up. Understanding the requirements of the business needs, creating, maintaining, and debugging those pages is crucial. Position Description:

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications

Under the supervision of a project leader, collaborate with company customers, staff, colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options

Assess objectives for the assigned project phases and recommend technical strategies and tactics to achieve business needs

Share responsibility with other team members to ensure on-time product delivery

Follow development process and provide business analysis and programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area, usually as a member of a project team Formulate and define application scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems

Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written, and design, code, test, debug, and document programs

Required Skills:

· Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and JQuery

· .NET experience (strong C#)

· Knowledge of SQL and database programming

· Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming

· Strong knowledge of Visual Studio IDE (2008 and newer) and Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio

· Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience with systems development in new computing architectures and environments; knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical, including development technologies and scripting languages

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms

· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills

· Good project management skills, operating as part of a team organizing, planning, and executing projects from vision through implementation

· Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams

· Business application design, development, installation, and modification

· Experience in computer systems or IT support

· Experience in multi-platform environments

Preferred Skills:


· Understanding of AJAX and Web Services

System & Software Validation Engineer – Embedded Application (2013) – SM10347

This position is located in Saginaw, MI. For the right candidate, we offer a generous relocation package.

This position supports control software Functional integration verification and validation of software for an embedded control system using state of the art microcontrollers. The job requires an understanding of requirements, algorithm design and designing simulations and tests to confirm requirements are met. Testing is performed at the functional level (software integrated into target hardware). Strong analytical skills are required to support root cause investigations and support the development of robustness programs. The ideal candidate is someone who is results driven and detail oriented.

Job Requirements:

Required Skills:

· Minimum of 4 years experience with automotive controls development or verification

· Experience with Matlab, Simulink to support systems testing

· Experience with Labview / National Instruments hardware

· Good knowledge of serial communications; including vehicle messaging and diagnostic service implementations.

· Ability to read and understand “C” and Assembly source code.

· Familiarization with Vector CAN Tech products (CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape)

o Experience writing CAPL functions in the Vector tool environment

· Excellent communication and documentation skills

· Familiarity with formal problem solving skills (Fishbone analysis, etc)

· Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Visio, etc)

· Understanding of control module embedded design – microprocessor peripherals, memory allocation, compilers, linkers, programming standards, etc.

· Support meetings internally and with customers to discuss test plans and test issues.

Preferred Skills:

· Prior experience with a requirements management tool such as DOORs (by Telelogic)

· Experience of CARSIM or related simulation based products.

· Some past experience coding in the Vector CANTech programming language “CAPL”

· Good understanding of microprocessors and microcontrollers
