Summary: Performs administrative support and copying/scanning services to reproduce handwritten, typed, or printed matter by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Receives, processes, and maintains orders for copier services from individuals.

Makes suggestions regarding paper, scanning, and other options.

Operates copier and scanning equipment.

Distributes completed copies to individuals.

Collects mail from PO Box daily and prepares outgoing certified mail.

Uses the computer system to log incoming mail on patient accounts.

Opens, scans and delivers daily mail to individuals.

Performs minor repairs on copy and scanning equipment.

Reports mechanical failure for technician repair and keeps records of regular maintenance of machine.

Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, ordering office supplies, and maintaining monthly logs.

All other duties as assigned.


Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software.

Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to operate basic office equipment

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Full Time with Benefits Starting hourly rate: $9.50
