Office Express (OEX), a fast growing office supply, office furniture & interiors, and custom printing business, is looking for a full-time Accounting Assistant. Applicant will work with our Finance Department to support all aspects of our business.

Responsibilities Include

·         Post vendor payables, customer payments, purchase orders, and invoices daily
·         Verify proper customer billing
·         Customer follow-up on overpaid, underpaid, and overdue invoices
·         Manage rewards program
·         File Sales and Use taxes
·         Prepare and post journal entries
·         Perform other administrative duties and/or special projects as required (may not necessarily be related to accounting)
Desired Skills and Experience
·         The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of an Accounting bachelor’s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study
·         Previous accounting experience
·         Understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable
·         Accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
·         Ability to quickly learn industry-specific software (DDMS)
·         High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Compensation
$12.00-15.00 per hour depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental and vision insurance, paid vacation days, personal days and holidays, and 401K.
