Title: Program Manager (14-00011)
Location: Auburn Hills, MI
Base Compensation: $85-$115K

Type of hire:  Direct Placement

The main missions of the role are to:
– Update program open issues and drive team to closure on their issues
– Meet assigned Program Gate Reviews
– Manage program timeline
– Update program reporting
– Prepare customer presentations
– Track tooling expenditures and update tooling matrix
– Manage program PMS
– Track commercial open issues
– Review BP evolutions and risks ops, and implement the approved plan
– Run program top 5 (QRQC) meetings

Program Management Department specific tasks:
– Provide assistance as needed to commonize group reporting (tool tracking, open issues, financial dashboard)
– Assist PM’s with PMS
– Coordinate PRC reporting
– Update GM QRQC area monthly
– Manage open issues
– Assist with cost saving workshops

Education / Experience:
– BA or BS in Engineering or Business
– Minimum of 5-10 years automotive experience
– 3-5 years of Program Management experience
– Experience with Nissan
– Chrysler experience would be a benefit.
– Finance experience with managing financial objectives, operating income and tooling budgets.

Knowledge / Skill Set
– Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
– The position demands a high level of analytical sense and excellent organizational skills.
– The ability to build an effective team and to motivate people to commit to goals and objectives is highly desired.
– The performance needs to be in accordance with the company core and manager competencies.
– Strong ability to communicate efficiently with all levels of management, co-workers and subordinates and the ability to resolve conflicts and build effective teams is required.
– Must be willing and able to travel (10-20%)
