St. Joe’s Workshop Speaker
The Education and Networking Group is scheduled to meet on Thursday February 25th in St. Anastasia’s Pastoral Center from 7-9 PM. We are pleased to announce a guest speaker for this meeting. Margaret Devereaux will explore the emotional issues that arise from unemployment and how to effectively deal with them. She will also consider the impact of unemployment on family and/or significant others and how best to respond to them.
Margaret is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters Degree in Psychology. Margaret is an educator who teaches courses in psychology and provides seminars, workshops and retreats in the community. She recently co-led a six week seminar for the unemployed. Margaret is engaging, empathic, a good listener, and enjoys facilitating groups.
Her presentation will be followed by a networking session with the people in attendance to share our successes and identify any areas where help may be needed.
