Here at inSync Staffing we are trying to make a difference in the staffing industry by disclosing as many of the details regarding our open positions. Our end clients hire hundreds of contractors and temporaries every year and I believe you could be a great fit for the following position:

Type of position: hourly/contract

Length of assignment: 6 month contract

End Client: General Dynamics-Aries Group (you will be an employee of inSync Staffing working on a contract/temporary assignment)

Location: Sterling Heights, MI

Target Pay rate: $60hr (depending on fit to required and desired skills in your experience and on your resume)

Job Description:

Perform system engineering work that support requirement development and system architecture

•Power and Energy & Mobility Systems analysis

• Create Mobility /Power system architectures and derive requirements

• Perform functional analysis to develop functional flows and concepts of execution

• Develop high level system architecture based upon functional analysis and systems


• Identify, define, and manage signal, power, data, and hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid interfaces among subsystems

• Perform systems analyses, including trade studies, to create a balanced architecture that

Supports the functional and performance requirements of the vehicle system

• Document system analyses and recommendations in report format

• Manage power allocations and network bandwidth allocations for vehicle functions

• Ensure the system architecture aligns and agrees with other architectures such as power,

Physical, functional, and software

• Monitor systems requirements changes and communicate refinements to subsystems


• Assess impact of design upon systems architecture and requirements

• Conduct team-wide architecture and interface specification reviews; capture, manage,

And resolve issues rose during review

• Engage subject matter experts from other engineering specialties (safety, reliability

Maintainability, sustainability) as well as subsystem design engineering workgroups to

Ensure comprehensive resolution of system-wide problems and issues

• Create high-level descriptions for inclusion into Vehicle System Design Document

Job Requirements:

• Experience in systems analysis and requirements decomposition/analysis

•Develop and maintain requirements in DOORS

•Develop vehicle system architectures that represents signal, power and fluid interfaces between subsystems

•Ability to conduct functional analysis and the allocation of functions to subsystems based on the system architecture and requirements

•Understanding of requirement compliance to vehicle design

• Extensive knowledge in Mobility (Automotive) subsystem which include Suspension, Steering, Breaking, Power pack , drive Train , vehicle lighting and environmental control systems

• Experience in any of the following: power analysis, power distribution, and/or hybrid electric vehicle architecture

• Experience resolving issues in a multi-disciplined engineering environment

• Experience with Microsoft Visio, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, DOORS

• Occasional travel within U.S. and to Canada (valid passport required)

• Eligible to obtain security clearance


Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
